DELTA Resources, Inc. Attends 11th Annual Fisher House Golf Classic

DELTA is proud to attend and sponsor the Fisher House Golf Classic in Leesburg, Va on May 5th, 2014

Alexandria, Va- May 5th 2014- DELTA is proud to enter its 6th year in attendance of the Fisher House Golf Classic. The tournament is a major fundraising event for the Fisher House Foundation and arguably the foremost golf event in the capital area. In its 11th year, the tournament has raised over $850,000 in each of the past two years and more than $6-million since it began. The tournament attracts over 50 corporate sponsors, 288 players, and participation from senior DoD personnel, Members of Congress, and a significant contingent of Wounded Warriors for a great day of golf and blessings for Fisher House.

This year the 2014 Fisher House Golf Classic will support The Heroes’ Legacy Scholarship Program which benefits the children of those who have fallen in battle, have died, or have become disabled through their active military service since September 11, 2001. The scholarships help to defray the costs of tuition, books and fees at any accredited U.S. post-secondary institution of higher learning. Each year in addition to the tournament and dinner, the classic holds Silent and Live Auctions as well as a Raffle. DELTA has donated tickets to several Washington Nationals home games, 300 sleeves of Titleist Pro V1 golf balls, and an original Peter Hsu art piece for the auction, goodie bags, and raffle.

DELTA is excited to continue its contributions to the Fisher House Foundation and participate in the event on May 5th, 2014 at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia.
