DELTA Resources, Inc. (DELTA) has been awarded task order EH05 under its Navy SEAPORT-e contract, N00178-04-D-4034. This task order with a potential total value of $31M is set to provide 42 full time equivalents (FTEs) of support to PEO Ships AM. DELTA’s support to the Ships AM Directorate encompasses oversight and management of Ship Project Directive (SPD) Execution Planning and Financial Execution; GFE Acquisition and Delivery Management; GFE Production Management; Shipbuilding Contracts’ Schedules A through E Configuration Management; Program Management; Business and Financial Planning and Execution; and Surge and Special Studies. Subcontractors for this effort include ELS, Inc.; Science Applications International Corporation; SBG Technology Solutions, Inc.; and The Columbia Group.
DELTA’s CEO, Maria Proestou, stated, “DELTA is excited by the opportunity to build on our 10-year history of support to the Ships AM Directorate as a complement to our already broad support of Navy shipbuilding and related programs under Team Ships, PEOs LCS, Carriers, and Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS), as well as in NAVSEA 05, and other Expeditionary Programs. We have put together another exceptional team that is already working with almost 100% staffing providing Ships AM with the forward thinking, innovative, and well-integrated support on which DELTA prides itself.”
This effort represents DELTA’s 9th task order awarded under Seaport-enhanced. Other recent task order awards include prime efforts in support of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition, and subcontractor efforts in support of Navy’s Expeditionary Programs, and the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems.
About the Customer: The Ships AM Directorate provides the U.S. Navy with a single organization for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) System Acquisition Management supporting Team Ships (i.e., PEO Ships and NAVSEA 21) as well as for PEO LCS. Efforts are focused on GFE and GFI management for the DDG 51 Class, DDG-1000, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Seaframe and Mission Modules, and Cruiser and Destroyer Modernizations, and plans to support GFE/GFI management for Amphibious ships.
