DELTA Resources, Inc. promotes Daugherty to lead new Naval Warfare Systems Program

Washington, DC. -- DELTA Resources, Inc. (DELTA) has added a new program to their support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), the Naval Warfare Systems program, which will be led by Brian Daugherty as program manager.

“Due to recent growth and upcoming opportunities in 2009, we made the decision to create the Naval Warfare Systems program to ensure we are able to take advantage of future opportunities with NAVSEA,” Tom Winckler, Chief Operating Officer of DELTA, explained. “With Daugherty now responsible for growth and execution in the Naval Warfare Systems program, DELTA will be better positioned to ensure a more efficient and effective path for sustainable growth in NAVSEA.”

Daugherty possesses a B.S. in Physics and Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University. He also holds 26 years of leadership, team-building, complex problem solving and decision making experience in multi-disciplined Department of Defense environments. Before moving into his new position, Daugherty supported Warfare Systems Engineering Plans & Programs as the senior task manager with DELTA.
