DELTA CEO Looks at Challenges in Professional Services Industry

Arlington, VA – During the annual Professional Services Council (PSC) Conference in October Delta Resources Inc. President and CEO Maria Proestou took part in a panel titled, “Strategies for Growth II: Meeting the Challenge if Today’s Market Dynamics.” She was joined by fellow panelists Nancy Blethen, Owner, President, CEO of Tech Systems, Inc. and Bill Kane, President of Catapult Technology, Ltd. The panel was moderated by Carleton Jones, President and Vice Chairman of INDUS Corporation. This panel focused on proven strategies for success and overcoming the obstacles to grow in today’s market. Proestou understands how to grow a business, and was asked to participate in the panel as a representative of a small “emerging” business.

Proestou focused her remarks on the importance of good partnering on meeting growth objectives, stating, “Partnerships make a big difference when you are trying to grow outside of being a “niche” player.”

The companion panel “Strategies for Growth I: Looking Within – Scaling System and People” focused on questions facing companies with topics on talent vs. loyalty and diversification vs. focus.
