DELTA Resources Inc. has been named a winner in the 2011 SmartCEO GovStar Awards
DELTA recognized as one of Greater Washington’s top government contractors.
Arlington, VA – DELTA Resources announced today it has been named the Star Workplace Medium winner in the second annual GovStar Awards, a program by SmartCEO magazine and Sheppard Mullin. The GovStar Awards recognize Greater Washington-area government contractors who lead the way by exceeding the extremely high expectations in this complex and competitive sector of business. Collectively, the 45 finalists in this year’s program have grown their companies to over 25,000 people and boast combined revenues of $7.36 billion.
The GovStar Awards celebrate small, medium, and large government contractors in the following categories:
Star Workplace: Government contractor that has created a dynamic, fun workplace environment for its employees.
Star Performer: Government contractor that has experienced tremendous growth through M&A and organic expansion.
Star Warfighter: Government contractor that supports the safety and well-being of individuals who are serving or served in the armed forces.

Industry Star: Government contractor that has gone above and beyond regarding its contributions to the industry and country as a whole.
DELTA was named the winner during a dinner at the Hyatt Regency Reston on October 13, 2011. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner event will be donated to the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides assistance to Wounded EOD Warriors and their families in the form of financial relief.
