DELTA Resources, Inc. Awarded Contract to Provide World Class Modeling and Simulation Services. DELTA to provide continued support to OPNAV N81 with systems engineering, model development and research, model modification and improvements, and model testing, transition, and demonstration support.

Alexandria, Virginia- January 2, 2014- Delta Resources Inc., was one of five awardees of a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide world class modeling and simulation services in support of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Assessment Division (N81). Under this contract DELTA will provide OPNAV N81 with systems engineering, model development and research, model modification and improvements, and model testing, transition, and demonstration support supporting OPNAV in the areas of warfighting, manpower, and fleet readiness. The maximum potential value of all task orders to DELTA is $31.9 million dollars.

About the Customer: The Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) for Integration of Capabilities and Resources (N8) exercises centralized supervision and coordination of Navy’s capability analysis and assessments, allocation and integration of the Navy’s resources in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PBBE) System, and determination of technical requirements. The Assessment Division (N81) is responsible for assessment of: the Navy’s integrated warfighting capability delivery; Sponsor Program Proposals (SPP) in the near-term and mid-term to evaluate Navy’s ability to win the fight now and counter the future threats of our adversaries; the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for the CNO in the areas of Manpower, Fleet Readiness and Logistics capability delivery (wholeness); multi-system combat kill chains and manpower, readiness and integration & interoperability.
